Father's Day card

Happy Father's Day to our Heavenly Father!  Thought I'd write Him a card...

1 Corinthians 13:4-8

4 Love suffers long and is kind; 

love does not envy; 

love does not parade itself, 

is not puffed up; 

5 does not behave rudely, 

does not seek its own, 

is not provoked, 

thinks no evil; 

6 does not rejoice in iniquity, 

but rejoices in the truth; 

7 bears all things, 

believes all things, 

hopes all things, 

endures all things.
8 Love never fails.

Dear Heavenly Father You are awesome!  You have been so patient with me as I try and understand You, and Your Word.  You have allowed me to try new things, fail, and learn.  I am so glad You let me fall and then lift me up higher than before.  You aren't selfish, You never give up on me.  Even though I'd like to give up on myself.  You actually believe in me, as I seek to believe in You.  There's nothing I could give You that You don't already have.  So today I give You my love.  Happy Father's Day Father!
