Wordless Wednesday

Matt 6:26-27
26 Look at the birds of the air,
for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns;
yet your heavenly Father feeds them.
Are you not of more value than they?
27 Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?

  1. That is a beautiful verse, about the sin of worrying. It's a pretty awful waste of time and energy---and it gets in the way of God's grace. Worry is the work of Satan. Great post.

  2. Thanks Clint. I agree, if an artist sits and worries instead of working he'll never make a masterpiece. Kind of makes you wonder what we miss out on when we worry too much. Thanks for your comments!

  4. Thanks Colleen! It sure does speak for itself. I'm kind of excited it seems like God has lead me to timely verses all week. He probably always does, I just don't notice sometimes. And... you are right it is hard not to worry.
