Sometimes I feel like I need some direction! Should I do this? that? or the other? Even my To-Do lists don't provide the exact location I need : ) This verse in Isaiah promises God's still small voice will guide us- when we ask for help. He does too. The other day I lost my reading glasses and prayed that He would help me find them. He sees and knows everything. I sat down to watch TV, and about 20 minutes later noticed they were lying under the end table. Helping us figure out what to do, where things are, and where to go is not a problem for the Lord.
Next, I'll be asking Him to help me remember things... sigh.

I pray for help to REMEMBER just WHERE I've put my glasses, too. That, and parking spots, among other small things. If it's important to our well-being, the Lord is available, isn't He? :o)
ReplyDeleteHahaha He sure is : ) So glad I'm not the only one. Awesome God for sure!
ReplyDeleteOh, how I have difficulty knowing which way to turn sometimes...but at my age, I'm learning more and more to listen to that tugging at my heart...and that it's HIM!!! Thanks for the reminder!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment. I agree entirely. Age does help... and well enlarges our faith at the same time. : ) God bless you Deb!
ReplyDeleteI love this! So grateful that God prompts us, helps us and guides us.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the encouragement Alida : ) God bless you! I am so grateful too.
ReplyDeleteI'll never forget the time a few years ago I was in Mexico on business. I had lost my glasses and was in a panic for about 20 minutes. I looked everywhere. Imagine my total shock when I found them resting on my nose.
ReplyDeleteHahaha Clint. That's priceless. I'm thinking this verse is a good one to keep handy as we get older for sure! Thanks for sharing that. : )

Thanks Lori- I'm looking forward to it! May God bless WFW with His love, hope and joy.
ReplyDeleteI love how God is also so faithful in the "little" things. To me that is such a huge part of what an amazing God He is...not just some aloof being who only makes monumental decisions but a loving God who cares about us enough to help us find our glasses! It's very personal really.:)
ReplyDeleteYes Colleen- He's very personal with us. Amazing isn't it? His mind is something I can't comprehend : )
