Wordless Wednesday

The first time I read this verse I was amazed that God would quiet me with His love and rejoice over me with singing.  I memorized it.  And the Lord brings it to mind now and then.  I imagine falling to sleep at night in His tender care.  Wonder why it's easier to see myself doing things like this than Him.  He loves us so much.  Amazing God!  How I love Him and His Word.

  1. It was exactly that same part that stood out to me, too. It's mind boggling to think that the Creator of the universe loves me that much! :)

  3. This is a favorite verse for me, too. I used to sing in a church choir and there's a wonderful anthem using this verse - it always helped me to picture the loving, dancing, singing God, spreading his loving care over us like a warm blanket. Thanks for this lovely photo and these good words.

  4. Good message! Our problem as humans is that we must let go and give Him the chance to comfort and lead us. I keep reminding myself to GET OUT OF HIS WAY!

  5. I love love love this scripture. Thanks for sharing this. It shows us a side of the Father that we need to see. How many people yearn for such a loving father, they need to know that they are not alone, that they are loved beyond measure.

    Peace in Jesus,
    & remember, we are...
    Never Forsaken

  6. God bless you all! You know we are created in His image and it would make sense that He would sing and dance too. In these times, every reminder of His love and kindness is like a breath of fresh air : )

Yes, Diana this would make a beautiful song for a choir. God is so much more than we can imagine. And, Clint surrender to the Lord is so key for us.

Middle- you're still in my prayers. I know the road is rough right now. Praying for His will, guidance and peace.

NF- I couldn't agree more. If people knew our God, it would change so much. So many are hurting and afraid. And His love is right here. We just need to ask for it, and confess our sin- He'll take care of the rest.

  7. Your joy is exhuberant and it is birthed from Scripture. I need to read the word more for just the joy, rather than the teaching or the lessons
