Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving USA!  Really though, as Christians, everyday is Thanksgiving day : )

Here's my prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father thank You for all the many blessings we have received.  For all the things You've done that are unseen to us.  Thank You for Your amazing patience and love.  Forgive us where we have failed You, and help us to be stronger, to have self control.  Please help our nation Father, we don't know what to do.  But our eyes are on You.  To the praise of Your glorious grace, thank You.
In Jesus Name, Amen.

Some thanksgiving verses:

I will praise God’s name in song
and glorify him with thanksgiving.
Psalms 69:30

Let us come before him with thanksgiving
and extol him with music and song.
Psalms 95:2

Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations.
Psalms 100:4-5

The Lord will surely comfort Zion
and will look with compassion on all her ruins;
he will make her deserts like Eden,
her wastelands like the garden of the Lord.
Joy and gladness will be found in her,
thanksgiving and the sound of singing.
Isaiah 51:3

All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God.
2 Corinthians 4:15

You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.
2 Corinthians 9:11

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
Philippians 4:6

I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.
1 Timothy 2:1-2

For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer.
1 Timothy 4:4-5

I am thankful for you.  May God bless you abundantly!
